Pianist VLADIMIR VALJAREVIC is a major prizewinner of "Citta di Marsala" and "Citta di Stresa" International Piano Competitions in Italy and numerous national contests in his native Yugoslavia.  He has performed in the United States, Yugoslavia, Italy, France, and the Netherlands.  In the U.S. he has appeared in the Southwest Virginia Festival for the Arts, the "Pro Mozart" Society in Atlanta, Georgia, the "Young Musicians Forum" in Schenectady, New York, the Concert Series at the Sienna College in Albany, New York,  the "Meet the Virtuoso" Series at the 92nd St. Y in New York City, and the Youngstown and Knoxville Symphonies.  He has performed at various venues in New York City including the Polish and French Consulates, Steinway Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Harvard Club, United Nations, Goethe Institute, and Liederkranz Society, among others.  His performances were heard on The Voice of America, and Yugoslav Radio and Television.

Vladimir Valjarevic received his Bachelor and Master of Music degree with honors from the Mannes College of Music in New York City as a scholarship student of Pavlina Dokovksa.  Additional studies took place with Arbo Valdma at the Conservatory of Music in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.  Summer festivals include Kneisel Hall in Maine, the International Keyboard Institute in New York, and the American Conservatory in Fontainebleau, France.  Master classes with Philippe Bianconi, Jerome Rose, and Lydia Kuteva.
